The Nigeria’s representative in the CaF Confederation Cup Enyimba International started their campaign on a losing note in Egypt.
The Nigerian side reached the group stage of the competition following their penalty shootout win over Etoile Filante of Burkina Faso.
They faced Al Masry of Egypt in the opening group game on Wednesday evening and suffered a 2-0 defeat.
The Egyptian giant opened the scoring in the 5th minute via Mahmoud Hamada
He completed his brace midway into the second half and condemned the People’s Elephant to their first defeat in the group stage.
