The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the match officials selected for the 2025 U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), set to take place in Morocco.
Twelve countries have qualified for the tournament, excluding Nigeria, and preparations are already underway.
According to the list released on Friday, 17 referees and 18 assistant referees will officiate the matches in the North African nation. Additionally, the tournament will feature 10 Video Assistant Referees (VAR), 5 match assessors, 6 instructors, 5 CAF staff members, and 3 IT support technicians.
Notably, no Nigerian official was included in the selection for the biennial competition.
