The Confederation of African Football ( CAF) has offered a huge financial assistance to the participating clubs in the 2024/2025 Champions League and Confederation Cup.
Four Nigerian clubs including champions Rangers International, Remo Stars, El Kanemi Warriors and Enyimba International will be playing in the preliminary round.
According to the latest update from CAF, each participating club will get $50,000 as a financial support to enable them prepare for the competition.
The first preliminary round is set to commence on the weekend of August 16-18 and the reverse fixtures a week later.
Al Ahly of Egypt is the current holder of the champions League while Zamalek also of Egypt is having Confederation Cup in their custody.
