The Confederation of African Football (CAF) held its 14th General Assembly on Wednesday, where President Patrice Motsepe successfully retained his position.

Motsepe, who first assumed office in 2015, replacing Madagascar’s Ahmad Ahmad, has led CAF for four years, bringing significant progress to African football.

Running unopposed, the South African business mogul secured another term, allowing him to remain in office until 2029.

One of his most notable achievements has been the successful organization and execution of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
