CAF announces Royal Air Maroc as official global partner for 2025 AFCON

The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has named Royal Air Maroc as the Official Global Partner for several major upcoming tournaments, including the CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025.

This partnership also includes the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2024.

This landmark partnership also extends to the TotalEnergies CAF U-17 and U-20 Africa Cup of Nations 2025.

 

Others are; the CAF Champions League 2024/2025 Finals, the CAF Confederation Cup 2024/2025 Finals, and the CAF Women’s Champions League 2025.

The agreement marks a significant step for Royal Air Maroc, reinforcing its role as a key connector between Africa and the world, while showcasing Morocco’s growing presence as a global sporting destination.

Morocco will host the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations from July 5 to 26, 2025, followed by the CAF Africa Cup of Nations from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026. The country is also preparing to co-host the FIFA World Cup in 2030.

Royal Air Maroc, which previously served as the Official Carrier of the Moroccan national team during their historic FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 run, continues to demonstrate its dedication to African sport.

CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe commented:

We believe the CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 will be the most successful edition in the tournament’s history. We also welcome more African and global companies joining us in advancing African football.”

As part of the partnership, Royal Air Maroc will expand its flight operations to support the increased demand from teams, fans, and officials.

A new commercial and logistical framework will be put in place to ensure broader coverage, greater travel options, and enhanced service.

Tailored flight schedules will cater to fans from across Africa and the diaspora, ensuring they can be part of this celebration of African football.
