Bruno Fernandes is upset that Erik ten Hag was fired at Manchester United, the Portuguese has therefore called and apologized to the now former United manager.

The United star feels responsible for the fact that ten Hag has lost his job, as the Portuguese himself did not play up to his best.

“When you see a manager leave, you have to take some of the blame on yourself, because it is because the team is not doing so well. It is easier to get rid of a manager than 15 players,” Fernandez says old Goal.

“I spoke to the manager and apologized to him. I was disappointed that he was fired and I tried to help him.

“I didn’t score goals, we didn’t score goals. I feel responsible. I usually score a lot of goals, but I always gave 100 percent.”
