The president of the African soccer governing body Patrice Motsepe has insisted that the appropriate action will be taken about the botched African Cup of Nations qualifier between Libya and Nigeria.
The match day 4 of the qualified was postponed after the Nigerian side refused to play the game following the maltreatment of it’s players.
While delivering a speech at the 46th annual Congress of CAF in Addis Ababa Ethiopia, Motsepe said the appropriate action will be taken on the game.
“Appropriate actions will be taken by CAF regarding the Super Eagles experience in Libya, for an AFCON qualifier”, he said.
The disciplinary committee has fixed Wednesday 22nd of October as the decision day.
