Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has shut down speculation about a potential move by confirming he will remain at Bayer Leverkusen for the upcoming season.

Speaking to German outlet Bild, Boniface declared: “I’m certain I’ll stay here. I still have three years on my contract, and I want to continue my journey with the team to win even more titles.”

The 24-year-old featured in 27 matches last season under manager Xabi Alonso, netting 11 goals and adding two assists. His strong performances were instrumental in Leverkusen’s successful campaign.
