Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey has been named Fulham’s Player of the 2024-25 Season.
The left-footed center-back, who arrived from Ajax in the summer of 2023, finished runner-up in his debut campaign but went one step further this time, securing the award after a strong season at Craven Cottage.
Bassey received 39.6 percent of the vote, narrowly edging out his compatriot Alex Iwobi, who came in second.
A mainstay in the team’s defense, Bassey missed just three league games as Fulham secured a record points total. His pace, power, and confidence on the ball were key contributors to the team’s impressive defensive stability.
