Super Eagles forward Taiwo Awoniyi has been omitted from Nottingham Forest’s squad for the upcoming UEFA Europa League campaign.
The Premier League outfit submitted their official list to UEFA on Wednesday, with Awoniyi’s international teammate, Ola Aina, making the cut.
Among those included are Chris Wood, Neco Williams, Morgan Gibbs-White, Douglas Luiz, and Callum Hudson-Odoi, as head coach Nuno Espírito Santo prepares his side for the demanding group stage.
Forest have been drawn against FC Midtjylland, FC Porto, Malmo FF, Ferencváros, SC Braga, FC Utrecht, Sturm Graz, and Real Betis in the league phase.
