Super Eagles goalkeeper Amas Obasogie has been cleared to return to training by his club, Singida Black Stars, and is now in line to feature in their upcoming league fixture against Simba SC.
Obasogie had been the subject of a match-fixing allegation a few days ago, which led to concerns over his availability for the club.
However, following a thorough investigation conducted by the club management, the Nigerian shot-stopper was cleared of any wrongdoing.
The development paved the way for the former Super Eagles invitee to rejoin the squad as preparations intensify for their next league encounter.
Obasogie returned to training with his teammates on Monday evening and immediately began preparations for the crucial clash against Simba SC.
His return is expected to boost Singida Black Stars as they continue their campaign in the Tanzanian top flight.
