Al Hilal and Neymar have mutually agreed to terminate the Brazilian forward’s contract.
Neymar is set to make a return to his boyhood club, Santos, in Brazil, with negotiations already underway. The 32-year-old is expected to sign a deal through the end of the current season.
Earlier this month, MLS side Chicago Fire had opened discussions with Neymar as well.
Neymar had spent a lengthy period on the sidelines after rupturing his ACL in October 2023. He then suffered a hamstring injury during his second appearance for Al Hilal in November, following a year-long absence.
His contract with the Saudi club was initially due to expire at the end of this season.
