Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina has revealed that the club’s 1-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield stands out as the most memorable game of his career.
The dramatic win came courtesy of a decisive goal from Callum Hudson-Odoi, which not only stunned the home crowd but also ended Arne Slot’s unbeaten run as Liverpool manager.
Speaking in an interview with Nottingham Forest’s official YouTube channel, Aina shared his thoughts on that standout performance, along with his favorite goal of the season.
“My favorite moment? It has to be the 1-0 win against Liverpool,” Aina said.
He also praised the team’s goalkeeper, highlighting his vital contributions: “He’s kept us in a few games this season. Without him, things could’ve looked very different.”
Aina went on to pick Morgan Gibbs-White’s goal against Wolves as his favorite strike of the campaign.
