Tanzania’s national team coach, Hemed Suleiman Ali, has expressed confidence ahead of their group stage matches in the upcoming AFCON 2025, including their clash with Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
Reacting to the draw held on Monday in Rabat, Morocco, Suleiman acknowledged the difficulty of the group but insisted his team is ready to face the challenge and secure qualification.
“We are prepared. We know our opponents, and while it’s a tough group, it’s tough for everyone. There’s no such thing as an easy group,” he told Cafonline. “If you’ve made it to this stage of the competition, you must be ready. We understand who we are up against, and we will prepare accordingly. There’s no alternative—we must be well-prepared and represent our people with pride.”
Tanzania will kick off their campaign against the Super Eagles in their opening match of the tournament.
