African football governing has named Egypt’s Amin Mohammed Omar as the centre referee for the crucial qualifier between Nigeria and Benin.

The 3-time African champions will be begin their journey to the 2025 African Cup of Nations with a home game against the Cheetah of Benin.

CAF further name the trio of Mohammad Abouelregal ( Assistant Referee I) Ahmed Hossam Taha ( Assistant Referee II) and Ahmad ElGhandour as the 4th official.
