Morocco, the host nation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, has unveiled the nine stadiums that will host the tournament’s matches.

Originally, six venues in cities such as Rabat, Tangier, Agadir, Marrakech, Casablanca, and Fez were selected. However, the number has now expanded to nine, marking a historic milestone for the tournament, as reported by Moroccan media.

Three additional stadiums have been added in Rabat: the Stade Moulay Hassan (with a 12,000-seat capacity), and the Stade al Barid and Stade du Fath Union Sport, both with a capacity of 15,000 spectators.

These are in addition to the state-of-the-art Moulay Abdellah Complex, the largest stadium in Rabat, as well as the Grand Stade de Tangier, Grand Stade d’Agadir, Grand Stade de Marrakech, Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca, and the Fez Sports Complex.

The expansion of stadiums ensures that no two matches will be played on the same pitch on the same day, marking another historic first for the AFCON.
