Newly appointed Rwanda head coach, Adel Amrouche, remains optimistic about the Amavubi’s chances of qualifying for the next FIFA World Cup.

Currently, Rwanda leads Group C, ahead of Nigeria, South Africa, Benin, Lesotho, and Zimbabwe. The team will face Nigeria’s Super Eagles in a crucial match on matchday five of the qualifiers.

Amrouche, an Algerian coach, believes qualification is within reach but insists that collective effort is key.

“I will do my best to achieve this goal, but I can’t do it alone. Together, we can accomplish something special,” he said.

“It’s possible to qualify for the World Cup. You just have to believe—just as I do.”
