Nigeria’s Super Falcons defender, Tosin Demehin, has penned a contract extension with Galatasaray Women, the club confirmed on Wednesday morning.
The commanding centre-back joined the Turkish giants a few seasons ago and has since established herself as one of the team’s most reliable performers.
“Galatasaray Women’s Football Team has extended the contract of successful defender Oluwatosin Demehin Blessing,” the club announced.
Demehin, who is entering her second season in the Galatasaray jersey, featured in 26 matches across the league and Europe last term, scoring once. She played a pivotal role in the club’s historic UEFA Women’s Champions League campaign and was instrumental in Nigeria’s triumph at the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations this summer.
“We wish Oluwatosin Demehin Blessing a successful new season,” Galatasaray concluded in their statement.
