Victor Osimhen has expressed his immense joy after touching down in Istanbul on Wednesday night ahead of his permanent move to Galatasaray.
The Nigerian striker arrived with his wife and daughter and was given a rousing welcome by thousands of ecstatic fans and a large media presence.
“I can’t describe how I feel. I’m so excited – I’ve arrived at a place I truly love,” Osimhen said.
“This feels like home, and I’m very happy. I want to thank the president, the vice president, George Gardi, coach Okan Buruk, and of course the fans who have always supported me.
“I’m delighted to continue my journey with Galatasaray. My story here goes on.”
