Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has reportedly rejected Atalanta’s latest contract proposal as he pushes for a move to Inter Milan.
According to Sky Sport via FCInter1908, Atalanta made a final attempt to keep the 27-year-old by matching Inter’s offer, but their efforts proved unsuccessful.
Despite the club’s last-ditch approach, Lookman is said to be determined to join Inter, leaving Atalanta in a difficult position.
Although an initial €40 million bid for the Nigerian was turned down, the transfer now appears to be edging closer to completion.
