Nigeria’s Super Falcons have once again etched their name in history, securing a record-extending 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title with a thrilling 3-2 comeback victory over hosts Morocco.

The Atlas Lionesses dominated the first half, with Chebak and Mssoudy finding the back of the net to give the home side a 2-0 lead.

However, the second half belonged to the Super Falcons. The introduction of Rinsola Babajide and Jennifer Echegini injected fresh energy into the Nigerian side, turning the tide of the game.

Esther Okoronkwo pulled one back from the penalty spot after a Moroccan defender handled the ball in the box. Minutes later, Ijamilusi leveled the score, silencing the Rabat crowd.

The decisive moment came when Echegini struck late to complete the remarkable turnaround, sealing Nigeria’s 10th continental crown in style.
