The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially kicked off the campaign for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) with the unveiling of its official poster and the tournament’s central theme: PAMOJA.
Set to take place from August 2 to 30, 2025, CHAN 2024 will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania marking the first time the East African trio will jointly organize a major continental football tournament.
The campaign’s theme, PAMOJA a Swahili word meaning “unity” goes beyond a mere slogan. It represents the spirit of solidarity, cooperation, and shared purpose. It highlights the unifying power of football and the values it fosters, including teamwork, resilience, and communal pride.
CAF revealed the official poster today across its digital platforms and broadcast partners. The design vividly reflects the cultural richness of East Africa, incorporating iconic landmarks and artistic symbols that echo the core values of PAMOJA.
CHAN is a unique tournament dedicated exclusively to players who compete in their home leagues. It serves as a platform to celebrate local talent and spotlight the depth and potential within African domestic football.
