Nigerian international and reigning African Player of the Year, Ademola Lookman, has reportedly agreed personal terms with Italian giants Inter Milan.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter now consider Lookman a top priority as they aim to bolster their attacking options following the departures of Joaquin Correa and Marko Arnautovic at the end of the 2024/25 season.
However, the Nerazzurri must first meet Atalanta’s valuation of the forward before finalizing the deal. Atalanta are said to be demanding a fee of around €50 million, though Inter are aiming to negotiate a transfer closer to €40 million.
Lookman made headlines last season with a stunning hat-trick in the 2023/24 UEFA Europa League final, leading Atalanta to a 3-0 victory over previously unbeaten Bayer Leverkusen. The triumph marked Atalanta’s first-ever European title.
