Italian Serie A Femminile side AS Roma have confirmed the signing of Super Falcons forward Omorinsola Babajide.
The 27-year-old joins the Giallorossi on a free transfer after leaving Spanish club UD Tenerife at the end of her contract in May. She has signed a two-year deal with the Italian champions.
Babajide enjoyed a productive final season in Spain, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists in 26 league appearances for Tenerife.
She will wear jersey number 30 at AS Roma, becoming the second Nigerian at the club alongside defender Shukurat Oladipo.
Before her stint in Spain, Babajide spent most of her career in England, turning out for clubs including Crystal Palace, Millwall Lionesses, Watford, Liverpool, and Brighton & Hove Albion.
Originally representing England at youth level, she later switched her international allegiance to Nigeria and has since become part of the Super Falcons setup.
