Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo has revealed that representing Nigeria’s Super Eagles is an option he is considering for the future.
The towering centre-back made this known during a post-match press conference in Philadelphia, USA, after Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over Esperance de Tunis at the ongoing 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Adarabioyo, who scored the opening goal in the comfortable win, responded to a question from a News Agency of Nigeria correspondent regarding his international future.
“That’s a question I’ve been asked quite a lot recently,” he said. “It’s definitely something we are looking into for the future. It’s a conversation I want to have, and we’ll see how it goes.”
For now, the former Manchester City defender stressed that his immediate focus remains on Chelsea’s upcoming knockout fixture against Benfica in the competition.
