Former Nigerian coach Sunday Oliseh maintains that the Super Eagles should be led by a homegrown coach.
The ex-Ajax midfielder was in charge of the team for nearly a year before choosing to step down.
Since his departure, both local and foreign coaches have taken the helm of the national side.
Speaking to Channels Television, Oliseh stressed that there are plenty of qualified Nigerian coaches who can do the job.
“I am totally against not handing that role to a Nigerian because we have qualified Nigerians who can do it,” he said.
