Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers has secured the Golden Boot for the 2024/25 Scottish Premiership season.
The Nigerian forward scored in Rangers’ 2-2 draw against Hibernian at Easter Road on Saturday, taking his league tally to 18 goals in 35 appearances.
Dessers edged out Dundee United’s Simon Murray and Celtic’s Daizen Maeda, who both finished the campaign with 16 goals.
Last season’s top scorer was Hearts’ Lawrence Shankland.
With this achievement, Dessers becomes the first Rangers player to win the Golden Boot since Alfredo Morelos.
