Barcelona moved within touching distance of the La Liga title with a dramatic 4-3 victory over Real Madrid on Sunday.

Real Madrid surged ahead early with a brace from Kylian Mbappe, but Barcelona roared back before halftime with four unanswered goals from Raphinha (2), Eric Garcia, and Lamine Yamal.

Mbappe completed his hat-trick in the second half, bringing his season tally to 39 goals — a record for a Real Madrid player in their debut campaign. Fermin Lopez also found the net late on, but his goal was disallowed for handball in a tense closing phase.

The win puts Barcelona seven points clear at the top of the table with just three matches remaining. It also marked their fourth Clasico victory of the season, matching the record set in the 1982-83 campaign.

Barcelona can clinch the title with a win over Espanyol on Thursday, or if Real Madrid fail to beat Mallorca on Wednesday.
