Following her departure from the Spanish Iberdrola club Sevilla Feminine, Nigeria’s Super Falcons midfielder Toni Payne has joined the English women side Everton FC.
Payne who part of the Falcons team at the last women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand joined the Toffees on Friday.
“Everton have completed the signing of Nigeria international forward Toni Payne”, the club said in a statement.
Payne who has 21 caps for Nigeria is presently part of the Super Falcons team preparing for the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.
