Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Cyriel Dessers, expressed his delight at marking his 100th appearance for Rangers with a decisive goal.
The Light Blues staged a thrilling comeback to defeat Dundee 4-3 at Dens Park on Saturday night, with Dessers netting the crucial winner in stoppage time. The goal marked his 45th for the Scottish Premiership club.
Reflecting on the moment, Dessers described it as special.
“It was very nice to score so late, but the 90 minutes before that were not that nice. At the end, if you can score like that in your 100th game, it is a very nice feeling,” he told Rangers TV.
“It was an unbelievable moment, scoring an injury-time winner.”
So far this season, Dessers has recorded 22 goals and seven assists for Rangers.
