2026 WCq: Amrouche unveils strong squad for Nigeria clash

Host nation Rwanda has stepped up preparations for their highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.

The Amavubi will take on the Super Eagles in Matchday 5 of the qualifiers at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.

On Saturday evening, head coach Adel Amrouche announced a 28-man squad for the crucial encounter.

Since his appointment, the Algerian tactician has assessed several local players before finalizing his provisional squad.

Amrouche’s squad includes four goalkeepers, eight defenders, nine midfielders, and seven forwards.
