RKC Genk manager Thorsten Fink has called on newly invited Super Eagles striker Tolulope Arokodare to raise his game as he competes for a spot in Nigeria’s attack.
Arokodare, who currently leads the Belgian Jupiler Pro League scoring charts, was among the forwards selected for Nigeria’s squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Fink acknowledged Nigeria’s wealth of attacking talent and stressed the need for Arokodare to keep improving.
“Nigeria has many top strikers to choose from,” Fink said. “Tolu is performing at a high level, and his work rate has never been better—his data proves that. Hopefully, this will also give him a boost as we approach the final stretch of the season. Sixteen goals is already impressive, but there’s still more to achieve.”
Arokodare has found the net 18 times across all competitions this season.
