Super Falcons striker joins Chinese club, Liaoning Baye

Super Falcons forward, Chinonyerem Macleans, has completed a move to Chinese Women’s Super League side, Liaoning Baye.

Macleans made the switch from Saudi Arabian club, Al Shabab, becoming the second Nigerian at Liaoning Baye alongside Folashade Ijamilusi.

The 25-year-old previously spent five years with Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) side, Bayelsa Queens, before moving abroad to play for Belarusian club, Bobruichanka.

She also had stints in Poland with Stomilanki Olsztyn and Górnik Leczna, as well as in Russia with Lokomotiv Moscow.

On the international stage, Macleans has earned two caps for Nigeria.
