Super Eagles winger Moses Simon delivered a stellar performance on Sunday afternoon, helping FC Nantes secure a 3-1 victory over RC Lens.

Louis Leroux put Nantes ahead nine minutes before halftime, setting the stage for Simon to double the lead from the penalty spot in the 60th minute.

The 29-year-old has now scored six goals and provided seven assists in 21 Ligue 1 appearances this season under coach Antoine Kombouaré.

Lens responded with a penalty goal from Neil El Aynaoui five minutes later, but Congo international Meschack Elia sealed the win for Nantes with a stoppage-time strike.
