Kelechi Nwakali, Nigeria’s Super Eagles midfielder, is steadily finding his rhythm and becoming an integral part of Barnsley FC.
Since joining the English Championship side last summer, Nwakali initially struggled to find his feet. However, he has since turned things around and is now playing a pivotal role for the team.
The former Arsenal midfielder was recently honored as Barnsley FC’s Player of the Month for January.
Although he didn’t start every match, Nwakali’s standout performances, including scoring important goals, have been key in helping the club improve its league standing.
His impressive form will undoubtedly serve as a confidence boost for the Super Eagles as they gear up for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in March.
