Super Falcons forward Folashade Ijamilusi has completed a move to Chinese Women’s Super League side, Liaoning Baiye FC.
Ijamilusi, who previously played for Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) champions Edo Queens, has signed a two-year contract with the Shenyang-based club.
The powerful striker was a key figure in Edo Queens’ title-winning campaign last season, finishing as the league’s top scorer with eight goals. She also contributed significantly to Edo Queens’ success in the WAFU-B competition.
Ijamilusi gained further recognition after scoring a hat-trick for the Super Falcons in a friendly match against Algeria’s Green Ladies last year.
