Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is confident his team will give their all in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.

The Gunners face a tough challenge after suffering a 2-0 defeat in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium, but Arteta remains optimistic.

He believes the momentum from their impressive victory over Manchester City will fuel their efforts.

“The next step is a final at Wembley, and we know how important that is—it’s something you can feel immediately,” Arteta said in his press conference on Tuesday.

“The win against City gave us a massive boost, and the way we won it makes us even more determined. This is the competition where we’re closest to a final, so we’ll give it everything we’ve got.”

Arteta acknowledged the difficulty of facing the Magpies but expressed his excitement for the challenge.

“They’re a very tough team to play against, and each match has been different. We had a strong win at home last season, but this season has been a different story with two very contrasting games,” he said. “This is another big opportunity in front of us, one that could take us to Wembley. I’m really looking forward to it.”
