Mohamed Salah has climbed to seventh in the Premier League’s all-time top scorers list after scoring in Liverpool’s 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town at Anfield on Saturday.

The 32-year-old’s goal in the 35th minute marked his 176th in the competition, surpassing Thierry Henry’s tally of 175 and putting him just one goal behind Chelsea legend Frank Lampard (177).

Salah has been in stellar form for table-topping Liverpool under manager Arne Slot this season. Alongside his goals, he has provided 13 assists and is currently two goals ahead of Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Newcastle’s Alexander Isak in the race for the Golden Boot.

The win over Ipswich helped Liverpool maintain a six-point lead over second-place Arsenal in the Premier League. Salah’s goal also elevated him to second on the list of all-time overseas scorers, trailing only Sergio Agüero (184).

Alan Shearer remains the Premier League’s top scorer with 260 goals.
