Leicester City manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy has made it clear that Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is not up for sale, despite recent rumors linking him to a move.

This comes after reports suggested French side AS Monaco had made an approach for the player.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, the Dutch manager rejected the speculation, emphasizing that Ndidi remains a key part of Leicester’s plans.

The midfielder, who recently signed a new three-year deal with the club, has been instrumental in their return to the Premier League and is considered vital to their squad.

When questioned about the potential of Ndidi leaving, Van Nistelrooy replied firmly, “No, of course not.”

“Wilfred is an essential player for us, and we are delighted that he is nearing a return from his hamstring injury,” the manager said.

“We’ve certainly missed him, and we know just how important he is. He will play a crucial role in the upcoming months as we aim to turn our season around,” he concluded.
