Paul Onuachu, the Nigerian striker for Southampton, had mixed feelings after his team’s 3-2 defeat to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League, as reported by BSNSports.com.ng.
Onuachu, who made the move to Southampton during the winter transfer window of 2024, has struggled to secure a regular spot in the starting XI. After a loan spell at Turkish side Trabzonspor, he rejoined the Saints last summer.
In Sunday’s match at the City Ground, Forest raced to a 3-0 lead with goals from Anderson, Odoi, and Wood. Southampton fought back late with goals from Jan Bednarek and Onuachu, but despite the effort, they were unable to avoid defeat.
