The coach of the Black Galaxies of Ghana Didi Dramani has revealed the reason they suffered defeat against Nigeria.
The Ghanaian lost 1-3 to their Nigeria counterpart in the second leg of the 2024 Championship of African Nations qualifier in Uyo.
The result means, they are out of the competition 1-3 on aggregate scoreline and the coach admitted that the Nigerian shows more hunger.
” Every coach feels disappointed after a loss, but the result speaks for itself,” Dramani said.
“Nigeria showed much more hunger and energy. We made some costly mistakes that proved disastrous for us.”
“After conceding the first goal, the second and third goals drained our team’s strength and morale”.
“Nigeria’s hunger to win was evident, especially in the first half”, he added.
