Former Ghana International Agyemang Badu has said it will be disastrous if the country crashed out the 2024 Championship of African Nations.
The Black Stars has already crashed out of the 2025 African Cup of Nations in Morocco.
And Black Galaxies has been seen as another opportunity to redeem their image.
They ended the first leg of the qualifier against the home based Eagles of Nigeria in a barren draw which make the second leg more crucial.
“We should be very careful not to go and defend,” he said reported by Joy Sports.
“This is only one game and when you lose, you are not going anywhere. We can’t do that [lose] because mind you, we didn’t qualify for the [2025] Africa Cup of Nations.
“If the CHAN too, we don’t qualify then there will be a little bit of disaster so we will support them, pray them, they [Galaxies] should go all out and win the game for us in the return leg,” he added.
The winner of the two-legged tie advances to the CHAN 2025 tournament to be held in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania next year.
