Ahead of the crucial game against Nigeria, the coach of Ghana Didi Dramani has insisted that beating Nigeria would be an honor.
Ghana will battle their rivals, Nigeria for a place in the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament with the first leg scheduled on Sunday, December 22, at Accra Sports Stadium.
“As a coach, I see every match as an opportunity to learn and grow,” the former Black Stars and FC Nordsjaelland assistant coach told CAFOnline.
“Leading Ghana to victory would be an honour and a testament to the hard work we’ve all put in. It’s not just about personal success but about contributing to the growth of Ghanaian football,” he added.
The return leg will follow on Saturday, December 28, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Nigeria.
This will be the second consecutive year that the Black Galaxies face Nigeria in the playoff round.
