Following his distinctive performance this season, the Major League Soccer club FC Cincinnati has decided to retain Nigeria’s Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem.
Awaziem moved to the United States after the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast from the Portuguese Primera Liga side Boavista.
Since his arrival, Awaziem has been consistent in the team and his performance has ensured the stability of the club.
The club on Tuesday morning revealed the list of the retained players for the 2025 season and Awaziem was prominent of the list.
