The coach of Enyimba International Yemi Olarenwaju has explained the reason they moved to Uyo ahead of the game against Al Masry.
The People Elephants will confront the Egyptian giant Al Masry in the opening group game of the CAF Confederation Cup next week.
The coach made it clear that they have to train and prepare on a grass pitch because pitch in Egypt is grass and they must get familiar with it.
“It’s been good, that’s why we came here to Uyo to prepare for our Continental match, we’re going to play on a grass pitch in Egypt,” Olanrewaju said.
“Our ground in Aba is synthetic and ball movement is quite different, that’s why we’re here, kudos to the management of Enyimba for bringing us here early so we can get used to the grass.”
