Former Nigerian International Kanu Nwankwo has said whoever in charge of the Super Eagles as a coach is blessed.
The former Arsenal attacker made the statement while speaking to Brila FM radio, where he made it clear that Nigeria already has the players in place.
“The main thing is to put them together,” he continued. “It doesn’t matter who is in charge, foreign or local coach, they are blessed to manage any Nigerian team.”
“When you have a team with 40 good players, what more could a coach ask for? You have 11 players on the pitch, another 11 on the bench who want to play, you are blessed with that.
” So, when people talk I think, these people don’t understand Nigeria and Nigerian players and who we are”, he said.
