The interim coach of the Super Eagles Austin Eguavoen has explained his satisfaction with the performance of the home based players in camp for the upcoming qualifier.
The camp of the home based Eagles opened earlier in the week for the upcoming 2024 Championship of African Nations qualifier against Ghana.
Eguavoen acknowledged their performance and commitment but admitted that there a lot to be done.
” Very impressive, only two training sessions, but you can see that technically they are very good”.
” We still have a lot of work to do because they are coming from different clubs”.
” We have to try to see how we can blend them into one unit”, he told NFF TV.
Nigeria will face their arch-rival Ghana in the final round of the CHAN qualifier later in the month.
