The manager of the Italian Serie A side Atalanta Gianni Gasperini has thrown his weight behind Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman.
The Bergamo based won their first European title with the help of the Nigerian International.
Atalanta defeated the German Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the final of the UEFA Europa league with Lookman scoring hat trick.
“My personal Ballon d’Or vote would go to Ademola Lookman,” Gasperini told Skysports.
“His magic skills helped us to win the Europa League.”
The winner of the award will be announced on October 28.
