Former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has been hired by Red Bull as the ‘Head of Global Soccer’.
The German left Liverpool this summer, but now he has a new job and he will stay in the world of football.
He will work with Reb Bull’s football clubs in a strategic way and this does not mean that he has to work in the various clubs on a daily basis.
Klopp was happy with his new job.
“After 25 years on the sidelines, I couldn’t be more excited to be involved in a project like this,” Klopp said.
“The role may have changed, but my passion for football and the people who created the game have not changed.”
He will resume officially in January.
