Ahead of the 2024 U17 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Dominican Republic, Nigeria’s Flamingos has departed the country.
The team under coach Bankole Olowookere has been undergoing an intensive training in Abuja to put them in shape ahead of the football mundial.

He rolled out the final list of 21 players for the competition last week.
The team and officials departed the country on Wednesday to Santo Domingo the capital of Dominican Republic aboard Turkish Airline from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
They are expected to engaged in a series of warm up games before the competition proper.
They are to compete in group A alongside Ecuador, New Zealand and the host Dominican Republic.
